The US Forest Service, Pike National Forest, South Platte Ranger District is planning to ignite slash piles in the Hatch Slash Piles Project and Deer Creek Machine Piles Project on 01/17/2025, depending on conditions.

Test fire should start around 1000 hrs.

Smoke maybe visible throughout the day in both areas.
